Workshops run seasonally throughout the year, here at our farm. If you are interested in learning about growing or creating with British Flowers, please take a look at my workshops below. I can also run group or 1:1 workshops in your home or workplace, contact me here to find out about these classes.

Grow your own Cut Flowers - Seed sowing workshop - Spring 2024

Join me for a Seed Sowing Workshop here at our farm in Stowford. This is a perfect morning for somebody who is keen to start growing their own cut flowers, but unsure on where to begin. During this workshop, I will give you guidance to start you off on your cut flower journey. You will learn how to care for and nurture your seedlings, which you will take home to eventually plant into your own outdoor area, whether that’s a windowsill, balcony of pots or a garden.

The workshop will run from 10:30am until 1pm and will be a small and intimate group based in my polytunnel, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions. We will also have a walk around the farm, and discuss different growing techniques, whilst enjoying a hot drink and homemade cake.

All materials will be provided, which will include: compost, seed trays, a selection of my own saved seeds and gloves. Please dress appropriately for the weather and for walking around the farm.

Price: £50.00 per person

1:1 Workshops with Liv at the Farm

Learn how to grow your own cut flowers and create beautiful arrangements for your home.

The class is great for beginners - someone who is wanting 1:1 guidance on learning a little more about the basics of growing cut flowers; how to design and prepare a cutting patch and advice on selecting the correct seeds for flowers all summer long.

We will also cover floristry basics; how to cut your flowers correctly, conditioning the stems and how to arrange them into a home-grown garden style bouquet. You will have the opportunity to work with a lovely range of seasonal English flowers, which you will take home at the end of the session, along with seeds and workshop notes.

The class is around 3 hours long and will include a walk around the flower fields, with tea and cake in our barn. The cost for this course is £110. Contact me below to arrange a date for this Spring or Summer.
